YELLOW FIELDS
Eberhard Weber

ECM
Sitting on the front porch of Casita del Verano with the laptop, drinking coffee, listening to:

Mockingbirds, cardinals, sparrows, wrens, mourning doves, bob-whites, crows, woodpeckers, distant traffic, and the whirl of a cyclist who just went by (trying to maintain momentum for the upcoming hill).

The leaf-blowers, lawn mowers, and weed-eaters are all lined up on the grid, waiting for the command, "Los caballeros, encienden sus motores."
